Summer TBR 2014!

Summer is almost here...
For me this means plenty of things: no school, warm weather, late nights, and did I say no school already? One of the reasons I enjoy being away from school is that I get to read... all the books I wanted to read but couldn't because of the countless assignments I've been assigned. And today I'm going to conjure up a list of books that I hope to read this summer. There are several series I plan on finishing/starting but also "Lone" books as well.

Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
  • Aside from having an amazing name like Rainbow, she is an amazing author and if this book hits me hard in the heart just like her other book, Eleanor & Park. This book will be one of my favorites.

Divergent by Veronica Roth
  • I've been nagged plenty of times by my friends to read the first installment of the Divergent series for a long time. But after watching the movie, I changed my thoughts about it. Divergent is intriguing and definitely makes you think of how society is today. I am definitely looking forward to reading the book, even though I've spoiled myself with the ending.
A Clash of Kings by George R.R. Martin
  • This 800+ paged novel is the second installment of the series A Song of Ice and Fire. It had taken me almost a year to complete the first book A Game of Thrones, and I hope to beat my time with finishing book two in the 3 months of summer vacation that I have.
The Geography of You and Me by Jennifer E. Smith
  • This newly released novel has 3 distinctive things that had lured me into it's grasp. Firstly, it begins with two people who live in an apartment building in New York City. Secondly, the main male character's has the same name as of my boyfriend. Thirdly, the communicated via postcards!
The Guild by Felicia Day & Jim Rugg
  • Graphic novels have always been interesting to me ever since I was a little child. So much so for a long time in my childhood I wanted to be the person who drew comics like Wonder Woman and the X-Men. (Although this is still a dream of mine to this day). The Guild seems like an amazing graphic novel and come on now, Felicia Day (a.k.a amazing actress/everything) had written the story based off her show on YouTube.

Although my list can go on and on forever. Realistically, I will probably have time to finish half of the list I've presented. I guess I can never be "not-busy". What is on your "To Be Read" list for the summer?

Thank you for reading!
Until next time,
